What happened last time?

Auckland Football had the upper hand over Southern United last season, winning 4-2 at McLennan Park in round four and drawing 1-1 at Logan Park in round 11.

“I always think home games are a slight advantage: you've got the crowd behind you and you're playing at your home fields, so you’re used to the conditions whereas for the opposition it's new to them every week. The opposition have had a chance to kind of analyse our past performances - so maybe they've [Southern, who had the bye last weekend] had a good chance to look at our threats. We’ve just got to be prepared and nullify what they will do to set up against us.”
