Today, the draws for Round 4 of the Chatham Cup and the Quarter-finals of the Kate Sheppard Cup took place at Seddon Fields.

The draws featured Kate Taylor (42 caps for Wellington Phoenix), who has previous experience playing in the Kate Sheppard Cup for Cashmere Technical a few years ago. The upcoming matches will be held on the weekend of July 6 and 7, with exact dates and times to be confirmed by the clubs.

Among the standout matches in the Chatham Cup, we have Western Springs vs Birkenhead United. Both teams are vying for the title in the Northern League and have faced each other twice this year, each securing one win. Cambridge FC, one of the surprise teams that eliminated Bay Olympic, will host Auckland City FC at John Kerkhof Park. In the central region, the match between Napier City Rovers and Miramar Rangers stands out as both teams are seeking a spot in the National League Championship, while in the South Island, Ferrymead Bays will play at home against Coastal Spirit, who remain unbeaten this year.

The Kate Sheppard Cup, meanwhile, has reached the quarter-final stage. Western Springs, the reigning champions, will play away against Franklin United. Perhaps the most notable match in this phase will be Auckland United vs West Coast Rangers. Currently, Auckland United leads the NRFL Women’s Premiership with 31 points, closely followed by Rangers with 30 points. In the central region, Waterside Karori, who won 2-1 after trailing in the last round, will play at home against Wellington Phoenix Reserves for a place in the semi-finals. Finally, Dunedin City Royals will host Cashmere Technical for a spot among the top four.
