Fixtures announced for Northern, Central and Southern League 2023


The fixtures have been announced for the regional phase of the men’s National League 2023 ahead of the competition starting on Friday 24 March 2023.

In the Northern League, Auckland City FC will kick off the defence of their regional title and National League Championship crown at home to Western Springs. The league will also see Manurewa AFC and West Coast Rangers join as promoted sides. 

The Central League will see defending champions Wellington Olympic start by hosting rivals Miramar Rangers in a rematch of the 2022 title race. Stop Out SC and Whanganui Athletic will join as promoted sides. 

In the Southern League, 2022 winners Christchurch United will host Green Island in Round 1. FC Twenty 11 will join the competition this season as the promoted side.  

Due to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 utilizing and upgrading a number of the home grounds of teams involved in the competition, the regional National League phase will see some fixtures moved to alternative venues. An updated schedule with confirmed venues will be made available ahead of the start of the season. 

The live streaming schedule for the competition is set to be announced next month.
