The date and venue has been set for the finals of the NZ Football Foundation Kate Sheppard Cup and Chatham Cup. Both games will be played as a double header on Sunday 11 September at Auckland’s North Harbour Stadium.

In the NZ Football Foundation Kate Sheppard Cup, Auckland United, who beat Palmerston North Marist 5-2 in the semi-finals, will face Northern Rovers. Rovers needed penalties to get past Dunedin City Royals, winning 5-3 after a 2-2 draw in normal time. The final will kick off at 1pm.

In the Chatham Cup, Auckland City will be looking to complete a treble after already claiming the Northern League and OFC Champions League titles. They will face Eastern Suburbs who narrowly defeated Hamilton Wanderers 1-0 in the semi-finals. The final will kick off at 4pm.
