New Zealand Football are pleased to confirm the rearranged dates for the final games of the 2021 Football Foundation Kate Sheppard Cup and Chatham Cup. The rearranged games were postponed during the 2021 season due to the Alert Level 3 lockdown in Auckland.

In the first Kate Sheppard Cup semi-final, Wellington United will play Eastern Suburbs at 2pm on Saturday 19 February at Newtown Park. In the second, Coastal Spirit will play Hamilton Wanderers at 4pm on Saturday 19 February at English Park.

In the Chatham Cup, Miramar Rangers will progress to the final after North Shore United chose to withdraw from the competition. The final will see Miramar Rangers play Cashmere Technical, who beat Western Suburbs 1-0 in their semi-final played in October.

The final for both competitions is provisionally scheduled for Sunday 6 March with the venue set to be announced following the conclusion of the semi-finals.

With all of Aotearoa New Zealand currently being at the Red setting of the Covid-19 Protection Framework, all games will go ahead without supporters. All venues will operate using My Vaccine Pass, meaning all participants will need to be vaccinated against Covid-19 and follow relevant health guidelines.

All remaining teams have worked with New Zealand Football to understand the risks of playing while there are cases of Covid-19 in the community and have independently decided to continue their participation in both competitions.

With fans not currently able to attend in person, New Zealand Football is planning to stream both Kate Sheppard Cup semi-finals live.

Both the Kate Sheppard Cup and Chatham Cup finals will be broadcast live on Sky Sport NZ.
