Standing Committees

Appeals Committee
Chair - Graeme Colgan

Responsible for hearing appeals against decisions from the Disciplinary Committee and the Ethics Committee that are not declared final by the relevant Regulations Governing the Application of the Statutes.

High Performance Player Welfare Committee
Chair - Jackie Barron

Womens Football Committee
Chair - Johanna Wood

To advise and make strategic recommendations to the Executive Committee on matters pertaining to the domestic womens football programme.

Disciplinary and Ethics Committee
Chair - Dave Trueman

To pronounce the sanctions described in these Statutes and the Disciplinary Code of NZF on Members, Officials, Players, Clubs and match and players’ agents.

Player Status Committee
Chair - Scott Moran

To advise and make recommendations to the Executive Committee on matters pertaining to the status of Players for various competitions of NZF.

Finance and Risk Committee
Chair - Dana Hussey

To assist the Executive Committee in discharging their responsibilities by ensuring the integrity of the organisation’s financial and accounting systems, its internal controls, regulatory compliance and risk management systems.

Referees Committee
Chair - Scott Moran

To advise and make strategic recommendations to the Executive Committee on matters pertaining to the appointment and development of Referees.

Our Statutes and Electoral Code

NZF Statutes:

Govern how the organisation operates. They set objectives for the organisation and cover such matters as the process for electing Executive Committee and the relationship between the governing body and key stakeholders.

The Statutes also also highlight individual bodies within the organisation and their roles (Appeals Committee, Women’s Advisory Group etc) and their roles.

NZF Electoral Code:

Sets out the processes relating the elections within New Zealand Football and its Members.

The NZF Electoral Code is also applicable to elections to all bodies that are subordinate to NZF (e.g. leagues, regional associations, and affiliated members), where possible, and whose regulations and procedures are controlled exclusively by NZF.
