When the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021 kicks off early tomorrow morning in Lithuania it will have a distinctly Kiwi flavour. 

Referees Chris Sinclair (Mainland Football) and Antony Riley (Central Football) have been given the honour of officiating the opening game as Referee and Second Referee respectively. The game will be the first of a number they will officiate during the tournament. 

The opening game sees hosts Lithuania play Venezuela at the Kaunas Arena, Kaunas. 

The tournament brings together the 24 best futsal teams in the world from 13 September – 3 October, kicking off tomorrow morning at 5am (New Zealand time).
