New Sustainable Home and Away Kit Released Today

Nike and New Zealand Football are excited to announce the new national team home and away kit, which is available from today.

The kit will be worn by the All Whites, Football Ferns, Futsal Whites and Futsal Ferns in all key tournaments over the next two years, including qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Staying true to tradition, the home kit is in iconic white, elevated by a jagged side stripe in a black silver fern pattern across the shirt and shorts, completed with white socks.

The away shirt is a bold repeated grey silver fern zig zag pattern on a black jersey. The kit is completed with black shorts and black socks.

Both jerseys have Aotearoa printed inside the back collars for the first time.

The New Zealand Football crest is placed on both jersey and shorts.

As part of Nike’s commitment to Move To Zero, the New Zealand national team kits and retail jerseys are again constructed with 100% recycled polyester from plastic bottles.

Since 2010, more than 7.5 billion plastic bottles have been diverted from landfills and waterways and transformed into recycled polyester for Nike footwear and apparel.

New Zealand Football CEO Andrew Pragnell said:

“It is great to finally showcase the new kits for our national football and futsal teams.

“We believe these shirts are an exciting, contemporary take on a New Zealand Football shirt.”

Nike Pacific Vice President and General Manager, Ashley Reade, said:

“We are excited to launch the new kit as the Football Ferns and All Whites embark on important journeys ahead of 2022 and 2023.

“We know the fans will wear the jerseys prouder than ever as New Zealand prepares to co-host one of world football's biggest upcoming tournaments.

“Symbolic references to the iconic silver fern on the traditional white home kit and the bold black away kit embody New Zealand’s inner pride. New pages in the history of the NZ national teams will be written in these kits, as they strive to achieve success for the nation over the next two years.”

Made from recycled plastic bottles, the jerseys are available at The Soccer Shop from today.
