Vacancy | Talent Pathway Manager / U-17 Head Coach


New Zealand Football is seeking applications for a Talent Pathway Manager within our Football Development team.

This role leads the development and implementation of the Talent Perform Pathway within NZF’s Whole of Football Plan, as well as coaching the Men’s U17 National Team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring programmes are in place from clubs through to national teams which drive talented player development and support advanced coach, referee and administrator development 
  • Managing all aspects of training and competition programmes for the Men’s U17 team, ensuring alignment with the NZF’s playing/training methodology

 We’re looking for someone with an OFC / NZF A Licence (or equivalent), who’s worked extensively in the area of talented player and coach development, preferably with experience leading elite teams on the international stage and a tertiary qualification.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • A detailed understanding of the NZF National Curriculum and Whole of Football Plan
  • Strong leadership and team development ability
