Auckland Football Federation seeks applications for the role of a Chief Executive (CEO). 

The successful applicant will provide strategic and operational leadership, foster strong relationships and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders on many levels.  We require a unique individual to ensure the delivery of a quality football experience to members on and off the field in what is the biggest Federation in New Zealand in participant terms.

Auckland Football Federation is one of seven member Federations within New Zealand responsible for the delivery at grassroots level of coach education, referee and player pathways to ensure the continued growth (in size and quality) of the game in New Zealand.  The delivery mechanisms are developed in line with Key Performance Indicators within the New Zealand Football (NZF) Investment Schedule.  The Investment Schedule requirements are such that ‘Key Outcome’ requirements are subject to annual change.

The CEO will be responsible to an Executive Board, with direct reporting lines to the Chairman.  Working closely together, the CEO and Board will set the vision, values and strategy that will be the guidelines toward an annual business plan the CEO will develop and deliver.

To ensure this plan is met, the CEO will oversee, and be accountable for, the day-to-day operations of the Federation to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the plan and its objectives.
