New Zealand Football welcomed new board members Dana Hussey and Cam Mitchell at their 2023 Annual Congress held yesterday in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.
Existing board members Scott Moran and Jackie Barron were also re-elected for further term.
New Zealand Football President Johanna Wood welcomed the new and returning members at a pivotal time for the organisation.
“On behalf of the Executive Committee I would like to welcome Cam and Dana to the board.
“This is a critical period for New Zealand Football as we mature as an organisation, deliver regular international football, leverage the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the benefit of the domestic game and continue to grow Aotearoa’s biggest community participation sport.
“The board look forward to working with Cam, Dana, Jackie and Scott to strive to deliver the best for football in New Zealand.
“Finally, I want to thank Andrew Bowater and Riann Umaga-Marshall for their contribution to the board during their time as part of the Executive Committee.”
Dana Hussey is a Director at KPMG with over 15 years’ experience in business advisory positions.
Cam Mitchell is the current CEO of Cricket Wellington. He joins having previously worked as Community Football Director for New Zealand Football as well as being the former CEO of both the WaiBOP and Northern football federations.
New Zealand Football continues to maintain 40% female representation on the Executive Committee, first achieved in 2020, in line with the Sport NZ target.
The 2023 Annual Congress also saw New Zealand Football publish its 2022 Annual Report.

New Zealand Football remains in a strong financial position with reserves of $9.6 million. Revenue continued to rise to $20.3 million with a net operating deficit of $1.7 million for 2022.
