New Zealand futsal players are taking over the English futsal scene!

The FA National Futsal Series is the premier futsal competition in England, with the winners of the competition earning qualification to the UEFA Futsal Champions League.

This season we have EIGHT kiwis representing NZ Futsal across the competition.

Futsal Ferns Hannah Kraakman, Dayna Manak and Tessa Leong are playing for Bloomsbury Futsal, who compete in tier 1 of the women’s competition. Bloomsbury are off to a strong start to their season with a win from their first match putting them 3rd place in the women's 1st tier.

Futsal Whites Jordi Ditfort, Kyle Wisnewski, Logan Wisnewski and Brayden Lissington are featuring for Reading Royals Futsal Club in tier 2 of the men’s competition, with former Waikato Rapids coach Sam Masterson leading the team as head coach. The Futsal Whites have also enjoyed a positive start to their campaign, most recently beating tier 1 side Hartpury in the Futsal Super Cup.

Both teams will travel across the country playing at elite futsal courts, with notable venues including Saint George's Park, home of the English FA and the homebase of the English National teams.

Congratulations to all on this awesome acheivement and we look forward to following both the Futsal Ferns and Whites as they look to make their mark at the highest level in England.

Follow Bloomsbury Futsal and Reading Royals on social media to keep updated with their progress throughout the season.

Select games from the women's tier 1 are live streamed on the FA National Futsal YouTube channel.
