New Zealand Football has published an update to its Delivery and Sustainability Project, the initiative commissioned in 2020 to examine many of the challenges long faced by football in Aotearoa New Zealand. 

The update outlines the progress made in 2021, as well as the steps being undertaken in 2022, across the four workstreams of the project:

- National League System
- Think National, Act Local
- Diversity and Inclusion
- The Football Ecosystem
