New Zealand Football has confirmed that the 2021 Football Foundation Kate Sheppard Cup final, set to be played on Sunday 13 March at 2pm between Hamilton Wanderers and Wellington United, has been postponed due to a large number of COVID-19 cases in the Wellington United camp.

The decision to postpone the game was made keeping player welfare at the fore, while following New Zealand Football COVID-19 protocols and consulting with the clubs involved.

The match is rescheduled to Sunday 27 March, with the venue TBC.
