Sunday’s Auckland City FC v Team Wellington Grand Final in the ISPS Handa Men’s Premiership marked the end of the competition in its current form before it transitions to the new National League.
To celebrate the competition, its teams, players, volunteers and fans, New Zealand Football have put together an all-time 11 in partnership with Trillian Trust, a long-standing supporter of the league.
The Trillian Trust Premiership Team of All-Time was selected by football experts Jason Pine, Andrew Voerman, Gordon Glen Watson and The Niche Cache from players who have competed in the league across its 17-year history. All were asked to pick 11 players in a 4-3-3 formation with their selections merged to create one team.
