Fans of the country’s top domestic cup competitions can now make plans for their viewing pleasure after confirmation of the fixture details for the opening rounds of both the ISPS Handa Chatham Cup and Football Foundation Kate Sheppard Cup.
The 91st edition of the Chatham Cup – one of the oldest and most prestigious trophies in New Zealand sport – will kick off on Anzac Day with a large number of ties all over the country while the preliminary round will wrap up with another batch of clashes on Saturday 28 April.
The Kate Sheppard Cup – newly re-branded from the previous Women’s Knockout Cup – will get underway soon after with round one on the weekend of May 12-13.
The final of both competitions will be held on September 9 at QBE Stadium in Auckland.
